Our aim is to develop the skills and employability of young people, to enhance well being and create opportunities to support those furthest away from the labour market.
We believe that through tangible and structured work based experience, training and support, young people will be in a better position to access the labour market. We strive to offer these opportunities to harder to reach groups and those facing social and economic disadvantage.
REY EUROPE is a social enterprise and not for profit organisation based in Central London. The organisation was founded in 2009, by Marcus Miller, the Chief Executive.
Since 2010, we have successfully led our local and international consortium partners to deliver 10 international programmes, facilitating international vocational internships for over 230 participants, funded by the European Commission’s life-long learning programme. At the organisation’s inception, we provided international work placements that focussed on sustainability.
Recognising the need to be responsive to both the labour market and external trends and the needs of the target groups that we are working with, we have now widened the scope of our work. We now offer work placements in an increasing range of vocational areas, both in the UK and internationally.
We also offer accredited employability, basic & functional skills training, to our placement participants and now have plans to offer our training to young people not in education, employment or training.
REY Europe has grown from strength to strength, with a growing staff team who have brought with them extensive experience of skills and employability development for young people, both in the UK and overseas.
